Suzie: the first deer that I saw at our new house
Such a "cutie"
Running across our yard
Blossom: Suzie's mother
Mother and Daughter
Whispering Spirit(known as Kingly)
He's the king of the forest
Buckley: Kingly's son
Buckley and Kingly
So Majestic!
Rocky: Kingly's daughter, Buckley's sister, and Suzie's best friend. She has very keen eyes and can tell when any danger is about. She is very alert.
One time I saw her looking towards the woods, and about 2 minutes later, some deer came out of the woods. This happened several more times. So whenever I saw her looking towards the woods, I knew that there would be some more deer coming. Now that's proof that I'm not just making this up.
Suzie, Blossom, and Rocky. (Notice how Rocky is being alert and keeping watch)
Dazzler: She stays back and never comes to far from the woods. That is her normal feeding spot.
Shooting Star: She's always the earliest one awake
I love how she's surrounded by the morning mist
Fern: She always hides in the bushes
Trigger: He is married to Dazzler. Unfortunately he died in Death Canyon; a ravine in the woods.
Velvet: Her skin is the most well kept
Rain Dancer: She's out in the rain a lot. That's how she got her name.
"Who's that?"
So gorgeous
Trigger, Velvet, and Rain Dancer
Fire-Foot: Fire- Foot is the fastest of all the deer. She died about a year ago. :(
Buckley, Rocky, Blossom, Suzie, following Kingly
Here's a video of some deer playing in the field behind our house
These pictures (and video) were taken about two years ago. I'll post some more picture later of the updates from the past few years.
Which deer is/are your favorite?
Psalm 18:33
"He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on high places."
Psalm 42:1
"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God."
