"I Went On an Adventure!"

Ever since I can remember, I've been longing to go on an adventure...like Bilbo Baggins.  I realized that God did put me in an adventure.  God as put my in 'My Life'.

My adventure was filled with troubles, sorrows, and pain.  But my journey was also filled with joy, peace, and happiness.  I hiked on mountains, romped through meadows, climbed trees, waded through streams, met people, and roamed with the deer.  God has put me in the best adventure!

  1. Indeed, the best adventure is life. A lot of people think that the real adventures are the ones that happen in fantasy worlds like the Hobbit and LOTR. (We still need to go to New Zealand together!) But we also need to realize that our homes are our mission field and our lives are our adventures. That was encouraging Sarah...I needed that too.

  2. ~If you mention Bilbo to me I will probably cry.~
Aww, great post Sarah. :) That was super encouraging today! This morning was quite an adventure for me, spending 3 hours with 9 toddlers & infants. :) Can't get much more adventure-y than that!

    2. I'm sure she was VERY tired. Hey, are you going to be at choir today. 'Cause if you aren't, you won't see Lily until camp. Speaking of which, "WE LEAVE IN SIX DAYS!"

  3. Such a good, needed reminder, Sar! One friend recently mentioned a quote, "Willing to go, content to stay" and I found that very inspiring/convicting. Lovely picture, too. :) Missed talking to you today. #yayforupcomingcampadventuring :) Much love!
